“An Engagement marks the end of a whirlwind Romance
And the beginning of an eternal love story”
Stephanie and Jeff, both University of Delaware Alumni, meant that a shoot on campus was a must. Afterall, this is where they met. On a beautiful Sunday Afternoon, I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session. It is easy to see why they fell in love. My team and I cannot wait for their October wedding! Congratulations on your engagement!
“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching,
Love like you’ll never be hurt,
Sing like there’s nobody listening,
And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
― william purkey
Adrienne and Lee! What a lovely couple. Fun, sweet and funny. Cowboy boots, an outdoor wedding and a barn with the most beautiful details. The day began with one of my favorite moments, the couple getting ready. A room full of the loveliest bridesmaids, flower girls and family stopping by to say hello. Adrienne, calm and radiant as ever, as she prepared to celebrate her love to Lee. Lee, hilarious and full of life. It was easy to tell what attracted these two to each other. We stood outside in the most amazing weather as they exchanged vows, followed by a lovely reception in the barn. It was an absolute pleasure documenting their day. Congratulations you two! Love is meant for all! Thank you to Ana for assisting.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Marla and Carl’s wedding! Not only were they the sweetest couple, but the sweetest family with such diverse backgrounds. The sun would peak in and out of the clouds, casting a beautiful sunset glow during their ceremony held at Pier 5’s garden, downtown Baltimore. It couldnt have been a more perfect day. Followed by an amazingly fun reception, with tons of dancing! Marla and Carl share such a unique relationship and journey of love together, that when I was contacted about featuring it in the Baltimore Sun, I couldnt say no. I was thrilled that they were able to share their love with everyone. Congratulations again Marla and Carl. And I am sure you had an amazing time in Jamaica for your honeymoon!
Many thanks to Ana for second shooting!

I had the pleasure of shooting Danielle and Mike’s amazing wedding at the four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore! Granted it was a little on the colder side, we were still so lucky to have had an amazing sunset and golden light to work with for this evening event! Surrounded by family and friends who really adore them, we bore witness to a love so pure and radiant. The love between Danielle and her close girlfriends was so touching, especially as the girls performed a special sorority song and dance surrounding the glowing bride. Danielle and Mike were the sweetest and calmest couple we had the joy of photographing. Not to mention that I may need to get some dancing lessons from the bride! Congratulations you too! I am so lucky to know you both!

“Laughter is wine for the soul – laughter soft, or loud and deep, tinged through with seriousness – the hilarious declaration made by man that life is worth living.”
And boy did I laugh. And not the shy internal kind, it was the full on straight from the belly kind. And when I wasnt laughing, I noticed a giddy sparkle in Katie’s eyes. Love (ly) eyes that were filled with joy, silliness, happiness and lots of laughter. Sweet, kind and intensely clever met with funny, quick on the toes humor. The perfect balance. A match made in NY heaven. I couldnt have asked for a more perfect day. As the golden sun set at the stunning Evergreen gardens, Katie and Anthony exchanged vows surrounded by family who travelled from near and far. It was an absolute honor and pleasure to have photographed this stunning wedding. Congratulations Katie and Anthony and to your entire wedding party and guests, Oopah!

“So there is this little boy, he kind of stole my heart. When you looks at my with big loving eyes, and hugs me really tight”
Baby Alex, is the sweetest little boy. I had the pleasure of meeting him at 4 days new! And he slept almost the entire time. Congratulations Becky and Nick and to his lovely grandmother who we got to snap some pictures with too!
Someone once said, “One of the greatest feelings in life comes when you look at the person you love and they are smiling at you.” I couldnt agree more. Marla has the most radiant smile, radiant and infectious! Love is laughter, love is light, love is happy and happiness begins with a smile. I was so excited to meet with the happy couple during the most beautiful day in Annapolis. With our recent rainy season, we really lucked out. I had such a lovely time catching up on the details of their big day. Marla and Carl, congratulations again! I can not wait for your wedding next year!
When I first met Adrienne and Lee, they werent officially engaged! We had an initial consult as I do with all my potential clients and spoke about their wedding, expectations and love they had for each other. Despite not having a ring at the time, it was evident how much they loved each other! Weeks later, there was an official proposal during an amazing sunset on a dream island getaway, and she said YES! Taking their engagement pictures was extra special! We had amazing weather and a day filled with laughter and love! Congratulations you two! I cannot wait for your wedding next year!
The moment I met Erin and Jake, I was completely enamored! Erin is one of the sweetest brides I have had the pleasure of working with and Jake has the best sense of humor! Brittland Manor was the perfect setting for their chic, outside wedding! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. (this being quite the rainy year in Baltimore). Not only were the newly weds just gorgeous (and fun to photograph), the flowergirls and ringbearers were so adorable. I had an amazing time photographing this wedding and spending time with a wonderful group of people! Congratulations Erin, Jake and Olivia! And thank you to Read and John who were so gracious in referring me! And ofcourse a big thank you to Ellen Cohn for being an amazing second!
P.s. I had a really hard time whittling these down for the blog! So many great shots to share.
I met Sara and Lee on a perfect New York day for their engagement session! Central park was a great starting point followed by the Lincoln Memorial which took a little eyelash batting and convincing the guard to let us shoot a few quick shots. Sara looked stunning in her green dress and walked faster than me even in flats, allowing us to cover a lot of ground (we all know how huge central park is!) I adore this couple. Gorgeous, sweet and made my trip to NY a fantastic day. Their September wedding cannot come fast enough! Congratulations to you both. And thank you to Jason tom for assisting and Styling.
