Christina and Georg Married!

Her smile lit up the entire room, his eyes sparkled everytime he caught a glimpse of her. Christina and Georg were blissfully wed in an amazing Ceremony at Grace Methodist Church followed by an early gathering at her family home and lastly a black tie reception at the Cloisters in Baltimore. She was a radiant bride, so full of laughter and wonderfully graceful, he had a lovely European Flair about him (he is from Germany), and a witty sense of humor. Their entire bridal party was equally stunning in appearance and personality. I absolutely adored being at this wedding. And so very honored to have been selected to capture such magical moments shared by all. Congratulations Christina and Georg! I hope you enjoy this sneak peak!

To say that she glowed would be an understatement. Meet Sharla, pregnant, gorgeous, super flexible and radiating with such a beautiful,energy! At the end of her pregnancy but still able to do headstands! This amazing Yoga Instructor asked me to shoot her yoga images. These are just some fun, spur of the moment images taken after. There is something truly magical about capturing the story of love. Especially Maternity and Newborn sessions. To be able to document the journey from a baby in a mothers belly to a miniature likeness of both his/her parents once born. Baby Reid, born with sunshine kissed blonde hair, (looks like highlights!) and a very sweet disposition was a joy to photograph. Congratulations to April and Ross on the new addition to their beautiful family.

2012 is quite the year for babies! Having just had another myself, and being completely obsessed with anyone pint sized, meeting Lindsay, Joel and Baby Graydon was thrilling. Such a sweet little boy, who slept most of the shoot (yes!) and how could he not? With white noise, my trusty space heater and lots of mum and dad cuddling, we were able to get some really adorable pictures. Congratulations mum and dad! They grow super fast, what a great way to document just how little they were once upon a time.

will feature an agency model as we learn about light, composition 
etc and how to shoot landscapes with/without a model. Please 
bring your Cameras as it is a very hands on class. All levels.

Tamara and Melvin

I just adore Tamara and Melvin! I was so excited when I finally got to meet them a week before their wedding. Lilliana (their daughter) is the cutest, bubbly little dancer and it was so much fun capturing them all on their day. The ceremony started at St Luke’s Episcopal Church in DC, and ended with a wonderful reception at St Francis Hall. Which was opposite the most beautiful garden. Tamara wore a gorgeous dress and I loved all the little details, the flowers, cake and the customized hanger with her new last name! What a pleasure it was working with Cate Buscher of Putting on the Ritz and Rachel Shaw of Plan it Perfect! Congratulations Tamara and Melvin on a beautiful wedding and many many years of love and happiness to come!

Jane Van Doe’s excerpt from her poem sums up this beautiful wedding! What a day! Blue skies at last, gorgeous fall weather and a wonderful church for the ceremony. Followed by an amazing reception location, The Mansion at Valley Country Club. I couldnt help but smile from ear to ear as I witnessed the love between these two. Dennis was ecstatic and while Nikki kept amazingly calm, we all sensed their eagerness to finally say ‘I do!’ What a pleasure it was meeting their families, friends and what an honor it was to have captured this magical day! Congratulations Nikki and Dennis!

I first met Betsy and Melissa at a wonderful wedding I shot last year for Summer and Dan, their very good friends. I had an amazing time shooting them then and even more so for their own wedding! It was a pleasure capturing their love , their laughter and their care-free nature. Despite the rain (which I believe to always be a blessing), the ceremony was held at an old and romantic church, lit by candle-light in Washington DC , followed by a lovely and intimate reception at Maggiano’s. Congratulations to the both of you. So honored to have been selected to capture your special day!

Bethany and Bryan

I couldnt wait to shoot Bethany and Bryan’s wedding. Their enthusiasm and laid back nature, made our last session so much fun and I knew their wedding, would be the same. Celebrated at the Mountain Branch Golf Club, on a beautiful day, Bethany and Bryan exchanged vows outside, overlooking the golf course. Releasing butterflies and blowing bubbles following the ceremony were sweet little touches that as a photographer, I just love! Followed by a lovely reception with lots of serenading, laughter, tears (the happy kind) and cigars. Congratulations Bethany and Bryan on a lovely day and many more to come.

Sarah and Aaron Married

What an absolutely sweet wedding. Sarah and Aaron were recently married at the Jefferson Memorial in DC and ended their day with a beautiful reception at Charlie Palmer Steak. We had the pleasure of shooting on their rooftop overlooking the Capitol. Despite the partly cloudy sky, we had an amazing view. But the most captivating moment of that day, was being witness to the love they share. As they say, Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. That was the love I was so honored to capture. Congratulations to the both of you! And wishing you many many years of happiness and even more love.
